I’d like to begin this edition by giving some flowers to two members of our community - Batsoupyum and Lanett Bennett Grant. These two remarkable patrons have recently announced an incredible new initiative that will directly support Emerging Artists - a commitment of $100K toward a curated portfolio of emerging artists.
That’s already a MASSIVE contribution on top of what they each have already done in support of Digital Art, but in the three days since their announcement, they’ve received an outpouring of additional capital commitments from the likes of ClickCreate’s Klutch & GuyNorcal, 6529, Bob Loukas, and even some of our space’s most well established artists. As it stands at the time of writing, the sum committed to the BSY Emerging Fund has eclipsed $500K.
Suffice to say, this has the potential to make a very meaningful impact on the lives of many artists in our community, but it’s also a reminder that we all play a part here - whether it’s quietly at a small scale or at the institutional level. I often pontificate about how Patrons can always offer three kinds of support to artists in the form of Time, Talent and Treasure. It’s rare to be able to offer all 3, but in my case, I offer my time and talents in support of the arts by way of my weekly content and advisory work; but I turn to you this Monday to ask - how will you support the development of Digital Art now and into the future?
If your answer is something to the tune of “by adding a Masterpiece to your Art Collection,” then you’re in the right place!
Read on to explore the 40+ Collections featured in this edition of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙜𝙚 — your trusted source for intel on the most anticipated Digital Art Releases debuting in the next 30 Days. 🖼️ 👀
